Day 7 – 7 authors, 7 days, 7 prayers – 1 Powerful Message

Oh, heavenly Father.  I come to you with Thanksgiving in my heart, Lord.  Because no matter all else, I am blessed beyond measure and am grateful for all of the gifts you’ve bestowed on your child

Please JOIN HANDS with us for 7 days of PRAYER by adding your AMEN or other PRAYER in the comments. Then please SHARE this word of HEALING with your family and friends.
DAY 7-

Our triune God, you made us in your own image and redeemed us through your own son Jesus. Look with compassion on the whole human family; take away the arrogance and hatred which infect our hearts; break down the walls that separate us; unite us in bonds of love; and work through our struggle and confusion to accomplish your purposes on earth; that, in your good time, all nations and races may serve you in harmony.
Grant, O God, that your holy and life-giving Spirit may so move every human heart and especially the hearts of the people of this land that barriers which divide us may crumble, suspicions disappear, and hatreds cease; that our divisions being healed, we may live in justice and peace. O God, you have bound us together in a common life. Help us, in the midst of our struggles for justice and truth, to confront one another without hatred or bitterness, and to work together with mutual forbearance and respect. May we who have wronged them seek forgiveness from our brothers and sisters. Help us to be humble, to listen and to learn. And may we raise up a generation who walk this earth only in love and compassion. Through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
This prayer is based on three from the Book of Common Prayer: for the human family, for times of conflict and for social justice. My prayer is that our human family would rise above conflict to seek justice and freedom for all.

When Olivia Hardin started having movie-like dreams in her teens, she had no choice but to begin putting them to paper. Before long, the writing bug had bitten her, and she knew she wanted to be a published author. Several rejections plus a little bit of life later, she was temporarily “cured” of the urge to write. That is, until she met a group of talented and fabulous writers who gave her the direction and encouragement she needed to get lost in the words again. Olivia has attended three different universities over the years and toyed with majors in Computer Technology, English, History and Geology. Then one day she heard the term “road scholar,”' and she knew that was what she wanted to be. Now she “studies” anything and everything just for the joy of learning. She's also an insatiable crafter who only completes about 1 out of 5 projects, a jogger who hates to run, and she’s sometimes accused of being artistic. A native Texas girl, Olivia lives in the beautiful Lone Star state with her husband, Danny, their corgi Bonnie Sue, and their new rescue Heidi Ho.
